Silver kind of girl

I was looking for a nice silver nailpolish for a while now, when I found the perfect one at a Dutch drug store (Kruidvat)! It's by 'Gosh' and it will set you back only  around 6 euro. When I bought mine, they had a special 2 for 1 offer, that's why I took the gold one too. I like it also, but not as much as the silver one though - the gold one could be more 'shiny' in my opinion. What do you prefer, golden or silver nails?

Minty fresh

Today I decided to throw on my mint-colored, vintage jacket, that I actually bought a while ago, but wore only once until now. In fact, my day had kind of a 'bad' start, when my perfume bottle just slipped out of my hands and shattered into a million pieces on the bathroom floor. Could have known this was going to happen to me, I'm kind of a 'dropper' (for those of you who have watched Friends!) - the plus side is my room smells nice now - though at times the smell becomes slightly overwhelming haha!

Summer in the City

This summer I bought a disposable camera- for the first time again in like forever. And I forgot how much fun it is not to know how you're photos are going to turn out! I just threw it in my bag and snapped some pictures whenever I was doing something fun - like a picnic, a sunday-morning breakfast outside, having the most delicious icecream (I do realise now that all of these things include food, haha!), or having breakfast (there's the food again!) with Kim, who can be spotted with a big-ass croissant!!

Anyhow, it was such a fun experience,I was so excited when I could finally pick up the photos at the store! And I quite like the 'old, and not so perfect' atmosphere they have! Definitely going to do this more often! 

Now I only need to buy lots of white frames (or vintage frames that I can paint white myself) for them!

A lil' like Chloé

Last week, while thrift shopping, I found this blouse which reminded me of Chloé's famous spring 2009 RTW collection, which I absolutely LOVED. So you can imagine my happiness when finding it, and especially upon discovering its 2 euro pricetag! After spending the weekend working and spending some time with my boyfriend (we watched Kick-Ass, such a fun movie!!!), I'm now off to work on my thesis - aka 'the neverending story'!

Packing

I'm packing my suitcase now, because tomorrow I'll leave to the south of France! I'm going with a friend and we will travel from campingsite to campingsite by bike, so it is a bit hard to figure out what clothes to pack! It needs to be comfortable on a bike, but I also want to look a little fashionable ;-). I'm definitely not packing convertible pants, but I MIGHT be packing hiking sandals...

Turbanish

So here's my take on the turban-trend, I wasn't able to make a real one (maybe youtube could help out), but also I think this is a lot more wearable for everyday life. It will be very usefull on my vacation next week, because I'll be spending all my days on a bike and I want to avoid a sunstroke ;-)

Contrast

Here is what I wore today. It is a very simple outfit but I like the contrast between black and white. I'm spending most of the day at home so I'm not wearing any shoes ;-)
